Artist's Statement:

"My artwork is the expression of nature, mankind and our place in the universe.

For centuries man has been at war with nature, hoping to tame and control it. Myths often speak of the struggle of the human need for power, be it with each other or with nature. all of nature on this planet is caught in the struggle of survival and evolution. Myths are stories that often illustrate the struggle and the magical transformation of evolution. My artwork is driven from a need to be one with the force of nature and the world in which we live.

As a seeker of wisdom, I am powerfully motivated to understand mankind's place in the universe and the meaning of our existence. I use the myths, legends and stories of mankind, journeying into our inner darkness in search of the blinding light of our truth. Using symbolism and the phenomena of nature, I seek to create beautiful works with lasting and permanent messages. We can find truth in nature, especially when it is charged with emotional energy.

This personal Journey has led me to continue the technical study of nature and anatomy. As I work with the alchemy of sculpture, I am forever amazed by the natural magic of nature.I
